Esmée’s “Run Every Day in January” for Bowel Cancer UK

Gina Shergold

Story

Esmée (now 8) was 13 months old when her Daddy, Steve, died of Bowel Cancer after being given the all-clear the previous year. He was diagnosed with metastases in the 8 months before she was born and received his terminal diagnosis shortly before her first birthday after exhausting all treatment options.

Esmée has decided, with the help of her amazing bonus Daddy, Ben, to run every day in January to raise money for Bowel Cancer UK.

She says: “I’m going to go for a run every day in January to raise money for Bowel Cancer UK because I don’t want anyone else to die from it.”

We’re so proud of this little ray of sunshine and would be so grateful for any support in helping her reach her fundraising goal!
