Dedicated to the memory of Stephen Shergold
This site is a tribute to Stephen "Shaggy" Shergold, born in Newtown, Wales on 22nd December 1981.
Steve was diagnosed with bowel cancer in 2012 at the age of 30. Despite two major operations, 21 months of chemotherapy treatments and clinical trials, a huge support network and the most extraordinary bravery and optimism, Steve died at home with his wife and family at his side on 12th November 2015.
Steve's huge personality, fantastic sense of humour and the way he confronted his illness with such lionhearted stoicism will be remembered forever, by all who knew him.
